Although we have said multiple times that you can buy happiness, spending beyond your means can only make you frustrated and awful, even if you spend your money on things or people you love.

Consider your money as an enormous tank that you fill up or drain throughout your entire life rather than as an inflow and outflow that occurs monthly. Instead of only considering how your financial actions will affect you now, consider the long-term impact of those decisions.
