They Open Up TOO Quickly

If you only just met someone and they immediately reveal all the skeletons in their closet, there’s a good chance they need to be more trustworthy and stable. Not only does this untrustworthy behavior trait show a lack of boundaries, but it can quickly spin out of control.

If someone’s willing to pile all that on you within the first few minutes of you meeting them, it could mean that they’re not in complete control over themselves or their actions.

It’s one thing to be trusting of others. But if this person sees you as someone they can lay all their problems on, it can get emotionally draining fast. So, at the very least, you might want to consider it a red flag.

Inconsistent

If someone’s words aren’t matching up with their actions, it’s time to let them go because that’s definitely an untrustworthy behavior trait. Since narcissists tend to get resentful when things don’t go their way, watch for mood swings when they interact with others.

They can swerve all their nonverbal behaviors and transform in the blink of an eye. This might include switching from really charming to super annoyed and then back again. Or they could morph into an entirely different “character” to get what they want.

It can be so manipulative that you may not even realize it’s happening until the person’s already pulled you in. So, note how someone acts when they don’t get their way. By staying, you’re only setting yourself up for failure because they’ll never actually mean what they say.
