They don’t care what you do; they care about who you are
This might sound a bit off-putting, but hear me out. When you go out with a guy and you suddenly start telling him how you’ve gotten your master’s degree in quantum physics or how you’ve managed to get a promotion in the first six months of working for a corporation, he might be rooting for you, but this doesn’t mean that this is the way to a man’s heart.
And by that, I’m not talking about the fact that a man might feel threatened by your success, but that’s not what matters to him. Men care more about personality than their professional upbringing. If you’re a kind, loving, and supportive human being, it doesn’t matter if you can work 16 hours straight.
