Maintain a social life even if you don’t feel like it

If you’re suffering from depression, you may often feel down and not so eager to talk to other people because this will definitely make you feel even more drained. But the second step to coping with depression is to create a routine that suits you and get in touch with your friends and family. In case they are living in other cities, you can join social media to keep in touch with them by sharing pictures and talking in real time by videocalls. This will definitely keep you more active and help you get out of your shell more often and much more easily. Plus, it’s fun!

However, if this doesn’t sound very appealing and you’re struggling with being social, you can always split the week days in spending time with yourself and your hobbies, and who knows, maybe you will also discover something nice and catchy that will become your favorite, and once or twice a week by doing something entertaining with your friends.
