Indecent pics of you, your partner, or anyone else

Sending intimate texts can be fun to build closeness and excitement with your partner. But those photos should never go beyond your shared blue bubbles because that’s a social media relationship pitfall.

This means no sharing your significant other’s photos, no matter how great you think they look, says a clinical psychologist who researches how smartphone use affects marriage.

Sharing any kind of intimate videos and snaps can cause some significant issues in your relationship, even if you’re sharing your own. Any sharing of racy content on social media should be discussed in the privacy of your relationship.

It’s generally wise to keep this part of your connection between the two of you and in the bedroom. Not to mention that it’s not just your friends who can see them. It’s all your contacts, including business partners and their contacts and, well, the entire internet!

… This one sounds like a truly embarrassing social media relationship pitfall to us!
