Liars are hurting inside

Before you explode and accuse someone else of lying, try to think about all the reasons why they could lie (if you can). Could it be because they’re covering up their pain?

Are they simply trying to avoid unwanted consequences? Are they trying to escape from an unpleasant situation? Maybe they’re hurting inside, and all their lies were nothing but a desperate cry for help.

Whatever it could be, you need to talk about it. If you think that a friend of yours or someone else you deeply care about is constantly lying to you, then you should talk to them about it.

In fact, if there’s anything you can do, help them. By making yourself a source of trust and love they could confide in, maybe you could break this nasty habit they picked and help them become the best version of themselves.
