7. You might stress them out

You should always remember that they are children, and the conversations you have with them should not be the same as those with an adult. If you need someone to complain to about health issues, financial problems, or annoying neighbors, your grandkids are not the right people.

This can stress them out because this information is not of interest to them, and at the same time, they may not be able to understand it due to the age difference. Try to find common topics you can discuss or ask them about their passions and get involved in those.
