Do you know any signs of lying?

Dealing with someone who isn’t being honest is complicated. First of all, you have to figure out if the person you’re talking to is actually lying to you. Then you have to grapple with why they are being dishonest.

Life partners and friends may withhold the truth for many reasons, which makes the big question „why” a tricky one to solve. However, even if someone won’t admit they are lying, there are certain facial expressions that may give it away. You just have to know what to look for.

Don’t worry; you don’t need a psychology degree for that. Keep reading this article, and by the end of it, you’ll know how to spot a liar.

According to experts, the facial signs of a person lying can be extremely subtle and, at times, hard to detect. One thing that’s worth mentioning here is to be careful not to jump to conclusions based on one sign and instead look for several indicators of deceit.

Experts also point out that you should identify three signals or more in total. The interesting thing is that recognizing signs of lying shouldn’t take too long, as most liars give them away within minutes or even seconds.

Without further ado, here are several facial expressions that can indicate someone’s lying to you!

Also, when someone lies, unless the person is a psychopath, the pupils in their eyes will get smaller, after they get accustomed to the light. That just takes a minute or so.
