9 Reasons Your Grandkids Avoid You Now

3. Kids are still kids!

Of course, kids are still kids, and they haven’t fully developed their personalities or defined their choices. So, their behavior doesn’t always need to be explained.

Since children can change from one day to another, today they may like you and tomorrow may not even talk to you. You shouldn’t take to heart every rude outburst they may have toward you.

Most likely, grandkids will realize later on that they need their grandparents and that they made a mistake by avoiding you. Be patient with them and give them space. Don’t try to force your way into their lives!
