If You Answer ‘Yes’ to These 5 Questions, Your IQ Is Above Average!

4. Delaying gratification

This is a topic that has been studied for a long time. What would you choose if you had the option of receiving immediate recompense or waiting and receiving a larger reward later?

If we take a moment and analyze the results of these studies, we can observe that those who chose to wait for the larger reward also scored higher on IQ tests. Well, it is kind of self-explanatory why this is happening. If you are able to look at two options and pick the one that gives you a better outcome, this is a clear sign of intelligence.

People who manage to have some self-control in certain situations will usually be more successful and will maximize their investments or efforts. So, next time, take a step back, analyze the big picture, and decide if it’s worth waiting for or not.
