5. Comparing yourself to other people

One of the things that most therapists will say is that you should never waste your precious time comparing yourself to other people. First and foremost, it’s not even healthy! Comparisons take our happiness, money, and sanity away. We will always waste money and mental energy attempting to stay up if we don’t quit comparing ourselves to others! Instead, you can look at the facts and see what things make you jealous and what things make you think they are better than you.

Rather than getting caught up in what other people are doing, concentrate on your own interests, objectives, and personal development.
