3. They sometimes cry

Let’s discuss a little bit about men and men letting their tears flow. You probably know the whole stuff about “men never cry”, “you are a man, so don’t cry,” or anything of this kind. This belief that men don’t cry is a gendered assumption, and you should not care about it. None of this is true. Men cry too, and that is alright. They are humans, and from time to time, they also cry. This is no big deal.

Unfortunately, all of these social norms and stereotypes discourage men from crying and showing their emotions. Hopefully, it seems that we are hedging in the right direction right now, and there is a good chance that the new generations of men will be more open about how they feel.
