15 Ways to Mourn The Loss of a Loved One

Start a hobby they enjoyed

This one might push you out of your comfort zone, but it’s not necessarily bad! If your loved one was passionate about knitting and gardening, you could try doing the same, just to understand better how they felt. Even if, in the end, you conclude that it’s not really your cup of tea, you might feel a certain closeness with your loved one in the whole process.

Plan for the anniversary

Even if it might seem as if everybody else has moved on, you shouldn’t feel embarrassed, or self-conscious if you want to plan something in the loving memory of your deceased one every year on the anniversary of their death or any other special occasion. Whether it’s a small, personal ritual, or a bigger event, you should find something that speaks to your heart.
