Did you know that more than 40% of the population struggles with sleep? According to a recently released report, being thankful encourages people to sleep longer and better since doing so may help their nervous systems relax by filling their minds with more good ideas before bed. Around 400 participants took part in this study, and more than 30% of those who had trouble sleeping found that being thankful actually improved sleep quality. Even though it may appear difficult, thinking grateful thoughts before bedtime helps a lot of people sleep better and longer.

I have experienced insomnia for many years, mainly because of stress. At some point I did write what I was grateful for and I remember it being helping. Somewhere along the line I forgot I had done that and your article reminded of that time. So, I will begin again and see how this works. Thank you so much.
