6. Take a look at your goals and priorities
When something so terrifying occurs to you, it’s understandable that what used to matter to you a lot now isn’t that important anymore. If you’re diagnosed with cancer or any other dangerous disease, you should really take a look at your priorities and goals.
Pay attention to what you want and need, and schedule time for the people and activities that you enjoy the most. Eliminate all those things that don’t bring you joy and aren’t a priority for you, and focus all your attention on those that make you happy.
Nobody said that being a cancer patient was easy, but if you open up to your friends and family and allow them to be a part of this new stage of your life, you might have an easier time battling this disease.
