Do you notice that this person only comes around when they need something? But when you try to reach out to them or need their help, they’re not there for you. Three words: Untrustworthy behavior trait.

A person who only uses you at their own convenience doesn’t care for you and shouldn’t be trusted.

They breach confidentiality

Confidentiality, when asked for and agreed to, is sacred. A grown adult who can’t keep a secret shouldn’t be trusted. If someone is eager to share someone else’s private mysteries with you, you can be sure of their untrustworthiness.

After all, they’re betraying another person’s trust by telling you, aren’t they? If you’ve given them any type of private information, there’s a good chance that this is already public knowledge.

Untrustworthy people enjoy sharing juicy nuggets of information they’ve been told in private. They believe that this will boost their popularity and prove their close connections with others. Where there’s no respect for confidentiality, there isn’t any hope for trust.

Have you noticed any of these untrustworthy behavior traits in a loved one? How did you handle the situation? Be sure to share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
