5. “There’s time to sleep in the grave”

If we make a category of advice that fits all of the unsolicited ones, this should be in first place! One thing is sure: we need a good night’s sleep in order to feel better because, after a long and exhausting day, both your brain and body need rest. Even therapists say that everybody should prioritize sleep and get a good night’s rest for at least 7 hours straight.

How many hours do you sleep at night? Tell us in the comments.

6. “You’re being selfish”

This is one of the things that are completely wrong! You are not being selfish if you want to spend time with yourself instead of going someplace you don’t want to. In fact, a lot of therapists advise us to be patient with us because a person who has mental health issues might need time alone in order to figure out what’s wrong with them.

Next time you’re being called selfish because you choose to say “no,” let people talk. You already know what is best for you!
