“You look fantastic!”

Receiving regular reminders that your spouse is still attracted to you, even after all this time, feels pretty good, doesn’t it? You don’t necessarily need to pour on the mushy-gushy compliments all day long unless you want to, of course.

But getting a little mention about how fabulous you look in that dress can put a little extra pep in your step! Compliments like these indicate that your spouse sees you and notices your looks. You’ve got their attention!

“What do you want to do?”

This is another important phrase successful couples ask each other all the time. And it’s all about generosity, which is like the sustenance of a committed relationship. It doesn’t take a genius to know that your spouse will be more satisfied the more accommodating you are.

In fact, many recent academics are conducting academic studies on the importance of generosity in matrimonies. When the relationship isn’t new anymore, we have a tendency to prioritize our desires over our partners. With this, we’re not trying to make you feel guilty.

Everyone is like this, whether they realize it or not. So you should try to say this phrase to your spouse if the occasion ever arises. Who knows? You might be pleasantly surprised by the answer, and it might even get you out of a relationship rut.
