14 Phrases Successful Couples Use Daily

“Help me understand this better.”

We all have different beliefs, vulnerabilities, upbringings, and values that shape how we believe relationships should work in life.

If your spouse responds to a problem in a way you can’t comprehend, telling them that you want to understand them better is vital to settling conflict and connecting on a deeper level.

“Thank you!”

This one seems so straightforward. Yet we don’t do this often enough with our significant others. Experts believe that all marriages rise or crumble on two factors: acknowledgment and control. Acknowledgment means giving your spouse the gratitude they deserve daily.

It may sound sappy. But it’s imperative to communicate this to them. And when you say the words thank you, say it with a generous heart if you want to be a successful couple.
