1. “Do what you love, and the money will follow”

This is probably one of the worst pieces of advice, since few people are lucky enough to have their dream job and earn good money from it. Think about artists, for example. In today’s world, technology is so advanced that only a few people appreciate classic art anymore.

That means they can’t earn too much from paintings or sculptures except when they are really famous and can afford to open their own art gallery. However, it is OK to do what you love as a side hobby and not have to make money from it as long as it makes you happy!
