1. They don’t relate to you

In addition to the significant age gap, children often do not understand their grandparents because they have a completely different lifestyle.

When children are left with their grandparents over the weekend, the grandparents have a different approach towards them, and the little ones don’t understand it and reject them.

The most important thing to do in this situation is to find something you have in common and build a connection. When you least expect it, you will discover that you have something in common with your grandkids. Stay alert!
