These 5 Marriage Cons Will Make You Reconsider Yours

4. Having young kids can be stressful

Everybody wants kids, but people rarely realize how hard it is to raise a child until they have one. And the reason it is so difficult is that you are not only raising your kid; you are raising another human being that will grow up and be a part of this world. That’s why you want to do a good job.

But don’t see this as something overwhelming that is not worth it. Being a parent is a beautiful experience that will teach you more about life than you can ever imagine. It is true that it’s not for everyone. Many people don’t want to have kids. And it is better to not have children if this is not what you wish for.

Many times after you get married, there is this pressure that you and your partner have to become parents as soon as possible. You don’t need to crack under this pressure. Be a parent only when you feel ready for it.
