7 Most Worrying Things Anxiety Does to Your Body

5. Memory loss

If you suffer from a generalized anxiety disorder or are a constant worrier, you’re more likely to experience short-term or working memory issues. In other words, the things anxiety does to your body also include forgetting important appointments, making frequent mistakes, and being unable to cope with hectic schedules.

Basically, a brain that’s constantly under stress will lose some of its cognitive function. When this happens, you may find it difficult to make important decisions at home and at work, and your ability to do certain tasks may be severely compromised. These things anxiety does to your body can make you even more anxious, leading to a vicious cycle.
