Are You Being Brainwashed? Here Are 9 Alarming Signs!

Love Bombing

You may remember that we mentioned love bombing at the beginning of this article.

This is a tactic where the victim is drawn in by their manipulator through physical touching, sharing personal thoughts, and bonding emotionally, all through exaggerated affection and constant assurance.

These are just a few examples of how a person can be brainwashed.

And if you think it’s easy to get them back into a normal state, Kathleen Taylor, a neuroscientist, conducted a study, and after reviewing the neural effects of brainwashed victims, she concluded that they had more rigid neural pathways than other people.

Dominance

When it’s all said and done, the main reason behind brainwashing someone is for one to feel powerful or obtain control over others. So, if your significant other always tries to have the last word in every conversation, it’s a form of brainwashing.
