Maintain an active lifestyle

This is another method that can help you beat depression. And don’t think of doing exercises like an athlete! Because you can also get results by simply doing a stretching session, which is definitely easier. In case exercising alone doesn’t sound appealing, you can ask some friends to do it with you! By doing this, you will get more accountability and feel more motivated.

In my case, I prefer going to the gym, where I can have somebody help me train correctly according to my age. Plus, it’s challenging to see that I can do more than the previous day! If fitness doesn’t work for you, then you can try walking in your neighborhood or even gardening. A lot of retirees are taking care of their physiques by moving around in the garden while also taking care of some flowers or vegetables.
