3. Value your time!

Be aware of your obligations and the value of your time. So you’ll be conscious that you can’t accept someone’s request to commit some of your time to a new commitment.

When you say, “I just can’t now,” be truthful. Instead of giving vague answers, try and say, “My schedule is already too full.” “I can’t do this task as well.” They’ll understand because they probably have a lot going on, and they’ll appreciate your candor, transparency, and concern for your well-being.

4. Negative self-talk

For a healthy and positive mindset, try to avoid talking badly about yourself. And don’t get yourself into a guilt trip where you blame yourself for all the things you couldn’t have done! Be mindful of how you speak to yourself (particularly your tone), just as you would with a loved one.

Don’t forget to pay attention to, gain understanding from, and not pass judgment on your emotions. This has major significance. Furthermore, avoid habitual self-criticism and instead be deliberate and constructive.
