11 Common Pieces of Advice That Are Actually Bad

It’s a fact that you should definitely take any advice with a grain of salt, especially if it comes unsolicited from a person who has nothing to do with you or doesn’t know the entire story. In the past three years, social media has been basically “bombed” with a lot of motivational quotes and articles that let us wonder what was good and what was bad.

But one thing is sure: before taking into consideration any piece of advice, understand it from your point of view first. Some may be fit for your current issue, while others will rather annoy you than do you any good.

If you go to a therapist, you may want to talk to them about things that bother you before asking your friends or your family for some advice.
