If Your Partner Does These 6 Things, They’re a Control Freak

6. They want all of your passwords

Your phone, laptop, or PC are all part of your personal space, and no one should access them without your permission. However, if your partner is a control freak, it might not be such a big surprise to find them snooping through your phone.

Since they want to know everything you do, your phone can be a great resource for them. They can check your messages, see when you made calls, and also see other personal information.

Many times, you have nothing to hide, but they will still want to know what you are doing on your phone. They can’t trust you, and this helps them have a sense of stability. But behavior like this is not helping the relationship, and the police-like presence might make you keep your distance from them.

Sometimes, because they want to keep an eye on your private conversations even when you two aren’t together, they may ask you to give them all of your passwords.

The best thing that you can do when you have to deal with partners who want to have control in the relationship is to establish boundaries. If they can’t respect them, you should not stay in a relationship that is not healthy.
