15 Ways to Mourn The Loss of a Loved One

Live your life in a way you’d know they’d be proud of

Whether it’s a spouse, a parent, a grandparent, a child, or a friend, we have a hard time acknowledging that our loved one won’t be there for us when we accomplish something or when we reach a milestone. That’s why taking time to remember how proud your loved one would be of you for a certain accomplishment is not only comforting, but it can also remind you of how we’re still connected to the ones we lost.

Finish a project they were working on

Whether it’s something around the house, a painting, a team they coached, or even a volunteer project they were deeply passionate about, you could pick it up where they left off. This might help you learn new things about the one you love, and keep your connection alive, but also their legacy.
