6 Facial Expressions That Mean Somebody’s Lying

5. Facial sweating

The signs of lying don’t always involve certain facial expressions. In fact, you may want to pay attention to some changes that may appear on the person’s face. You probably know that lying is often associated with sweating, but pay close attention because it can be discreet with a well-seasoned liar.

You will want to look carefully at specific areas on their face that may turn damp when dodging the truth. Similar to dryness, this sign of lying is related to fluctuations in the nervous system.

Sweat may often accumulate in the T-zone, which includes the nose, forehead, upper lip, and chin. As mentioned earlier, there can always be another reason for the facial sweating, like a hot day, so it’s important to look for multiple suspicious signs before accusing anyone of dishonesty.

Also, when someone lies, unless the person is a psychopath, the pupils in their eyes will get smaller, after they get accustomed to the light. That just takes a minute or so.
