5. Gift things to others who aren’t as lucky as you are

A few years ago, research participants were given $20 each to spend on themselves and another person. Guess which amount of money made people happier? Those were spent on someone else.

This made me think about all the gifts our parents used to give us for Christmas, and we were so happy about them that we wanted everybody to know what we got.

Treating others by giving them small gifts or even money for those who don’t have it can deliver happiness. What else is better in the world than not seeing someone happy because you helped them? I can’t think of a more wholesome feeling!

If you’re looking for a valuable gift for yourself that has the approval of psychologists, then you should check out a book called “Happiness: A Guide to Developing Life’s Most Important Skill“. It’s available on Amazon for just $18.99, which is a great deal in my opinion. With this offer, I would say that you can buy happiness!
