People who suffer from paranoia are excellent lie detectors

Paranoid people pay a lot of attention to the subtlest indication of threats, whether they are real or imaginary. They are always on the watch, and they are genuinely always on guard. Sometimes,  they might overreact, and that’s undeniable. After all, that’s how paranoia after 60 unfolds.

But here’s the twisted truth: while they always read into every little thing, it only makes it absolutely impossible to lie to them. They can detect inconsistencies in your story faster than a fire alarm can detect the smoke.

They are closely watching your body language, worst than a hawk. They listen to your voice tone just like a detective, and they are simply great at spotting subtle signs of deception. In other words, it’s highly difficult to lie to paranoid people. They will instantly hear it in your voice, notice how you avoid eye contact, and feel it when you do something that you think it’s innocent.
