Find Support

Infidelity isn’t something you should deal with alone. It would help if you communicate with your partner, but they won’t be a shoulder to lean on during this time.

When contemplating how to survive an affair, the immediate solution for surviving infidelity is to take advice from your close friends and loved ones. Look for support amongst your closest relatives as well. These should be people who you can confide in.

Therapists recommend you schedule regular meetups, shopping trips, movies out, or anything else you might like. You need to feel that someone cares for you.

A long-distance friend can help by texting you inspiring messages, or another person can help motivate you to go to local events. Build a good team around you to help you learn how to survive infidelity.

Keeping a journal throughout this period can also be significant in helping you work out your emotions.
