Check these lie-detection tips to see if people are being honest with you!

Let’s get real here, folks: Nobody wants to be lied to. But sadly, lying seems to be an inevitable aspect of human nature. According to studies, people lie somewhere between 728 and 1092 times yearly, depending on gender. Can you guess which one lies the most? Sorry, men, this one falls on you.

But women? It turns out they lie better! You see, everybody lies at some point. So now that we’ve cleared that up, how do we know if someone is lying to us? Unless you have mind-reading powers, how can You identify a lie from the truth?

Well, get ready to become a human lie detector! I talked to a few Psychology experts, and they’ve confirmed that there are some ways to detect deception. Here are 7 lie-detection tips to help you separate fact from fiction when talking to someone!
