You don’t keep promises and tend to lie

Earning respect from others doesn’t happen overnight. It’s built upon reliability and honesty. Yet, it’s also very delicate. Like a mirror, once shattered, it’s not easily restored. The fragments of disappointment and distrust often remain, warping people’s perception of us.

We’ve all been there at some point in our lives: the convenient little white lie that seems harmless at first or the unfulfilled promise with good intentions, however seemingly insignificant, can undermine people’s respect and trust for you.

Remember that being a person of integrity isn’t just about you. You’re also setting an example for others around you, as well. If you keep lying or not following through with promises, you’re sending a message that it’s okay for others to do the same.

So, strive to be sincere, even when it’s difficult. People will appreciate you more.
