There is a possibility that children may be scared of you because they haven’t gotten to know you well enough or because of the age gap when it comes to communicating with someone.

They have friends their own age, and seniors can be intimidating to them because they feel they will be judged regardless of what they do or say.

This fear may stem from a negative interaction with someone, be it their parents or teachers. Over time, they will realize that this perception is not accurate and come to the conclusion that their grandparents are trustworthy.

Grandkids are unique individuals, so don’t rely on what others say about their grandkids. Focus on your own grandkids and avoid making comparisons.
