10. Mindset by Carol S. Dweck

Psychologist Carol Dweck sums up years of research in her book. According to her, the mindset we adopt is a major predictor of our achievement and success. She believes that virtually every area of human endeavor can be strongly influenced by the mindset we adopt and how we choose to approach our goals.

She outlines the downsides of adopting a fixed mindset, explaining that it is far more effective to adopt a growth-oriented mindset instead. Whereas one mindset makes you believe your abilities are fixed, the other makes you believe your abilities and skills can be developed. As you may guess, the latter is the one that helps you move forward.

So, which motivational book on this list convinced you to give it a try? Have you read any of these yet? Let us know in the comments section!
