“Can I help you with anything?”

No matter what the case may be: things like carrying in the groceries, making the bed, juggling too many things on a neverending to-do list, even if you don’t really need the help, it feels good to know that someone’s there if you were to require assistance.

The most successful couples may be independent people. But they never forget that they’re also teammates. If you feel like your spouse is overwhelmed, you should try to step in and ask if you can do anything to lighten their load.

Sometimes a husband or wife isn’t thinking about asking for help, and it can make a huge difference when their partner offers. According to experts, it shows compassion and that you genuinely care and are thinking about your partner’s overall well-being.

“I’m fully committed to you.”

Making a connection and being in a relationship with someone is a choice, right? Well, reassuring your spouse that you’re still “in it to win it” and to work through any challenges that come your way will help create a sense of stability and safety.

This is one of the most straightforward examples of a successful couple.
