5. Your symptoms interfere with your work

A mental health problem could be indicated by problems with concentration, controlling your emotions at work, or a dramatic reduction in productivity. Reduced performance at work may be an indication of emotional discomfort, regardless of whether you’re feeling more pressured than usual or simply a bit burned out.

If you notice that your regular tasks seem like a burden now and you don’t feel like you can complete them by the end of the day, you should really start considering going to a therapist. In this case, a therapist might know how to approach the situation and make you feel comfortable talking about it.

6. Your psychological health is affecting your physical health

Another sign that indicates you might need help is your physical health. And we’re not talking about weight here; we’re mostly referring to physical pains like a headache that keeps going for days even if you sleep. Of course, it’s essential to first rule out any medical difficulties if you’re experiencing physical health issues by seeing your doctor.

You might be sent to a therapist if your doctor concludes there are no recognized medical causes for your symptoms.

I need to see a therapist. I have no social network that I trust and I need to talk to someone. My friends and sister only want to talk about their problems and none of them want to listen to what I want to talk about.

I need a psychiatrist today. My brother died, then my mom. My fiancé breaks up with me and gets in my face, I call the cops and I have 3 months to leave, I left the next night. I have no job and I did but he told me not to worry.. if they’re physically or mentally abusing me, he threw me out through all my stuff on the front line, but I lived in a 3000 square-foot house for 10 years. All my stuff did not fit inside of my car now he won’t let me go back and get it. He’s got my cats, my dog and I was on the street. I need a psychiatrist.
