6 Things You Should NEVER Tell Your Grandchildren

4. “You’re my favorite”

You have more grandkids, and of all of them, there is one with whom you connect more than others. This is perfectly normal. There are some people you connect better with. This is how things work, but this is not something that should make you tell this to one of your grandkids.

Yes, maybe you get along better, but saying something like this to them, even as a joke, might be troubling in the long run. Why do we say this? Well, this can lead to many behavioral issues and also create a false sense of entitlement.

Even worse, it can lead to conflict among brothers or cousins, leading those who haven’t received as much praise to believe you don’t care as much for them.

This phrase is absolutely one of the things you should never tell your grandchildren.
