Unethical? Neither Men Has Issues With Seeing Their Own People Suffer

When 1945 came around, Hitler’s circumstances had gone from frantic to hopeless. When the final attacks on Germany began, an unhinged Hitler gave the: “Nero Decree,” in which Armaments Minister Albert Speer was given orders to lay waste to what was left of Germany’s infrastructure.

The two goals here were to deny the use of resources to the enemy and to penalize the German people for losing the war. This is the point where Speer realized that Hitler finally acknowledged his loss. So far, Putin hasn’t been that passionate.

But he’s still careless and blinded by his own plots. Sanctions have been placed on Russia due to wars and interference against Western democracies. But his full-fledged invasion of Ukraine brought down the hammer from the rest of the world like never before.

As a result, Russia is increasingly isolated from the global community, not to mention international financial systems.

And while the extent of the punishment might’ve come as a surprise to Putin, he went ahead with his plans anyway, making the Russian people face the consequences.
