Self-Esteem Attacks
A person who wishes to brainwash another person can only do so if their target is vulnerable and has low self-esteem. A broken person is much more manageable to rebuild with a brainwasher’s ideas.
The brainwasher, therefore, begins by breaking down the victim’s self-confidence. This can typically happen through verbal or physical abuse, embarrassment, sleep deprivation, or even by intimidation.
A brainwasher will begin to take control over everything about their victim’s life, including their eating patterns and their sleep schedule, and they’ll even control the times their victim’s are allowed to use the bathroom!
Emotional Blackmail
If the person you’re seeing frequently threatens you with a breakup, you should know that this is just one example of how they can psychologically blackmail you to get you to do something they want. They want to instill fear in you, so they can better control you.
