Physical Abuse

People who are likely to manipulate you know that there are many physical techniques that enable them to brainwash their victims. Some of them can include keeping them hungry and cold, denying someone their sleep, and even bodily harm through violent behavior.

There are also a few more subtle ways that a manipulator can brainwash someone, such as having lights that flicker on and off at all times, keeping noise levels up, and raising or lowering the temperature in the room of the victim.

Verbal Assaults

We already know that physical abuse isn’t the only way a manipulator can harm you. Verbally attacking someone can also have serious consequences.

If you’re in a relationship with someone who tries to find flaws in you or exaggerates your flaws every moment they see you, then it’s simply an attempt to control your thoughts and make you feel inferior to them.
