If Your Partner Does These 6 Things, They’re a Control Freak

3. Your partner is accusing you of lying

You’ve been out with a friend of yours, and you just arrived home. Your lover is there, on the couch. It seems they have been waiting for you, telling you that they have something important to discuss.

You look surprised by this and ask them what’s wrong. They tell you that you are lying again and ask you why you can’t just tell the truth. You don’t understand what is happening? Actually, you don’t understand why this is happening again.

You made it clear that you never lied to them and that they have nothing to be suspicious about, but they are not listening to you.

This scenario happens more often than you might think and is a clear sign that your partner wants to be in control. When you have to deal with something like this, there is not much that you can do. But you need to be aware that if you have set some boundaries and your partner is not respecting them, that means that they are not respecting you. This is a big problem in any relationship and should not be ignored.
