7. They look nervous
One of the most common signs to see if someone’s lying is to pay attention to the T-area of their face, which includes the forehead, upper lip, chin, and the skin around the mouth.
If you notice a bead of sweat on their forehead or over their upper lip, that person is most likely not telling the truth. This occurs because their nervous system is working overtime.
Also, their pupils may dilate, becoming larger. This is because when you lie, your body tends to become nervous. So the human body responds to this emotion with an elevated pulse and a fight-or-flight response.
Last but not least, look closely at the person’s face. If their faces flush red, that’s another sign confirming they’re lying.
