If someone has a narcissistic parent or parents, they have a higher chance of being attracted to people who share the same traits as their parents. In the end, most of our actions can be explained by the things that happened during our childhood.

If you grew up with a narcissistic parent, try to compare how they made you feel about yourself and your life. Is your partner making you feel the same? Is this something that you enjoy or not? Probably the answer is no, and if this is the case, it is time to ask yourself if you want to spend your life by the side of a narcissist.
