High Stress Levels? 8 Definite Signs Your Body Sends You

7. Frequent chest pain

There should be no surprise that your heart suffers the most when you’re stressed. Your cardiovascular and respiratory systems are impacted by stress chemicals. You breathe more quickly when under stress in an attempt to quickly deliver oxygen-rich blood to your body. Moreover, stress can exacerbate respiratory issues, such as asthma or emphysema, if you already have them.

Your heart also beats more quickly when under pressure. Your blood vessels narrow as a result of stress hormones, which increase the amount of oxygen delivered to your muscles and give you more power. But be careful, because doing this also makes you more hypertensive. Therefore, sustained or ongoing worry will cause your heart to beat too quickly and forcefully, and the likelihood of experiencing a heart attack or stroke increases as blood pressure does.

The thing is that most people don’t realize they are stressed until it’s too late! Be careful and take a rest when you need to because chronic stress is no joke.
