10 Signs Your Marriage Won’t Last for Another Year

You don’t laugh together anymore.

Can I get a Hallelujah? I can’t emphasize this enough: laughing together is important. I know you can easily get sucked into the void of everyday life with serious problems and tons of debt, which automatically kills away the fun in everything, but it’s highly important to remember that healthy couples laugh together.

If you can’t remember the last time you actually had a good laugh with your husband or wife, then yes, you might have to consider whether your marriage will last.

He or she is never wrong.

If you never heard the words “you were right” or “I’m sorry” coming out of their mouth, then you might already know why your marriage won’t last. If you married someone who never takes responsibility for anything, whether it’s picking up some diapers or a gallon of milk from the grocery store, then no wonder you’re exhausted.

You should both be able to admit that everybody makes mistakes. When a person simply refuses to acknowledge ever making mistakes, no matter how big or small, that’s when you know your relationship is doomed.

You’ve read this article and you’re even more convinced that a divorce is on the way. If so, you have to start planning things out. More often than not, divorce is painful because you lose a lot of money and assets, so you better know what you’re dealing with beforehand. We recommend you read this book so you can be fully prepared: “Going from We to Me: A Financial Guide to Divorce“.

There are times when human beings just don’t get along with each other and that goes along with every marriage. Those who divorce over compatibility have not being true to their vows for better or worst and not allowing that love they felt for each other initially to come back through for them.
My wife and I have been married for 53 years and even yet we have times where we disagree and don’t get along with each other. Let it ride!! Don’t allow your ego and pride to get in the way of your relationship with each other.
Infidelity is another issue. Divorce in this instance is for the hardness of your heart. Only you can decide whether to forgive or not.
